With more than 8,500 members, the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) is the professional association for all pediatric-focused advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs).

In 2013, Expo Logic started delivering top-rated services for their credit tracking and lead retrieval needs. For two years, Expo Logic sat nearby while NAPNAP managed their on-site registration desk with very labor intensive processes and very long lines. When we approached Laura Nelsen in 2014, and said that we had a registration technology that could eliminate the long lines and labor intensive processes, she had doubts that this was possible. Their registration experience in 2014 was their "breaking point", and they knew they had to make a change.


Having an established partnership with us, NAPNAP requested our registration services for their 2015 conference. "They were so experienced in all aspects of the planning process. NSA 2014

The National Speakers Association (NSA) is the premier organization for professional speakers. Since 1973, NSA has provided the most comprehensive resources and education designed to advance the skills, integrity and value of its members and the speaking profession.



NSA's thousands of members include experts in a variety of industries and disciplines, who reach audiences as speakers, trainers, educators, humorists, motivators, consultants, authors and more. NSA is a member of the Global Speakers Federation (GSF), a global network dedicated to advancing the speaking profession worldwide.


Their 2014 conference was held in San Diego, California and they were in need of a better more efficient way to do registration. Expo Logic's badge[on]demand allowed NSA to manage all their registrants and badge printing directly out of their AMS (Association Management Software), netFORUM by Abila. This was NSA's first time using the badge[on]demand product and ExpressPass™ check-in stations.

NSBE 2014 

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), is dedicated to the academic and professional success of African-American engineering students and professionals. NSBE offers its members leadership training, professional development activities, mentoring opportunities, career placement services and more. NSBE comprises 354 active chapters — 233 collegiate, 56 professional and 65 pre-collegiate — located in six geographic regions with a total of 31,000 members. NSBE is governed by an executive board of college students and engineering professionals and is operated by a professional staff at its World Headquarters, located in Alexandria, Va.


NSBE needed a registration system that would integrate with their association management software IMPak Enterprise. Our badge[on]demand™ product was just the item they needed, it allowed NSBE to keep all registration information in their system while being able to print badges directly from each individual attendees record. Expo Logic's ExpressPass™ check-in stations were used on site to allow for a quick and speedy check-in process.

The Christian Book Association held their annual International Christian Retail show this past July in Orlando, Florida. ICRS 2012 provides attendees with "an exhibit floor with hundreds of worldwide suppliers for Christian products, and exposure to the whole industry, new concepts and trends, a global vision, cutting-edge training concepts, merchandising ideas and much more.”

Expo Logic was excited to provide online and on-site registrationExpressPass™ check-in, and lead retrieval services to ICRS for the 2nd year. With a high volume of attendees and exhibitors, the ExpressPass™ self-check-in service made the badge printing on-site process a breeze, causing attendees to wonder why we even put stanchions up to handle the non-existent lines.

The Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles’ Annual Las Vegas Convention was held September 6-9. CAALA Vegas is the “largest convention of trial attorneys in the nation. It features three and a half days of educational sessions presented by the nation’s most accomplished trial lawyers, jurists and legal consultants.” (More on CAALA Vegas can be viewed on their event website)

CAALA started using Expo Logic’s badge[on]demand product in April 2012,  allowing them to manage all registrations and badge prints directly out of their AMS, netFORUM by Avectra. This was CAALA’s second show using Expo Logic’s badge[on]demand and ExpressPass™ check-in, but the first with a large number of attendees and exhibitors.

“Using the badge[on]demand™ system on Saturday was phenomenal. We had about 75 to 80 percent of our attendees bring their confirmation so they were able to scan and get their badge. We had people bring paper, cell phone, iPads, big print, little print, a little bit of everything.” Said Bill Smith of CAALA, after their first event in April. “I was really stressing out about Saturday because I knew it was sink or swim and every one of us were absolutely thrilled with how well it worked.”

ARVO 2012


The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) holds an annual conference, which is the world’s largest gathering of international eye and vision researchers. With over 12,000 attendees, ARVO needed a registration and badge printing option that would move registrants through the registration process on-site quickly and efficiently with as little wait time as possible.

We suggested our exclusive badge[on]demand™ and ExpressPass™ solutions to allow easy registration and badge printing on-site. Badge[on]demand™ allowed on-site registrations to be entered directly into their familiar AMS, avoiding having to train their staff on new software. It also permitted for quick badge edits, allowing ARVO to make any necessary edits directly in their AMS. ExpressPass™ ensured that pre-registered attendees could print their badge on-site too. A barcoded confirmation was sent to attendees, which was scanned at the ExpressPass™ kiosk. Confirmations were easily scanned from a printed paper or directly on a mobile device. If the confirmation email could not be located, any attendee could still find their registration in the system and print their badge through the ExpressPass™ simple search tool.

Using ExpressPass™, ARVO was able to process 1,200 registrants per hour. The line for badge printing for over 12,000 attendees was constantly moving, so no one was held up for a long period of time. AVRO was able to process registrations and badge prints onsite quickly and efficiently which set a great tone for the entire event.
